Charlemagne was a good king. He ruled from 768 to 814 AD. Three interesting facts about Charlemagne are, he was the king of the Franks, a Germanic tribe. He was the emperor of the Romans for 14 years. Finally he died at the age of 71.
I truly do believe that Charlemagne had a positive impact on that time period. One thing that backs up this claim is that Charlemagne introduced feudalism. Which was a system that ran very well. Another piece of evidence that backs up my claim is that he introduced many schools for education. Also Charlemagne is even refereed to as the father of Europe for starting many modern day countries. |
To the left is Barg the Boat-maker. Barg is not so much of a warrior. He is good with his hands so he chooses to create the boats that Vikings use to travel on. If he is needed though he will fight. After all he will do anything to protect his people and family.
The Vikings had an impact on the feudal system. Since many kingdoms were afraid of being invaded they had to split the land so it was better protected from the Vikings. When the land was split the people had a better chance of protecting their kingdom from Vikings. |
